Morgan Hall Wins Årets Lalander 2025
With heart, courage, and a burning commitment to live music, Morgan Hall has transformed Östersund’s city center into a definitive meeting place for both residents and visitors. For his perseverance and ability to create pulse in the city, he is now named the winner of Årets Lalander 2025.
Award Details
Today during the Gold Gala, Morgan Hall received the Årets Lalander prize, awarded by Destination Östersund and Näringsidkarna in Östersund. The award is presented to individuals and companies who contribute to strengthening Östersund’s attractiveness.
”This year’s winner has contributed to Östersund’s place attraction with heart and courage. Through persistence and commitment, this person makes Östersund’s city center a recurring reason to visit. The person strengthens the city’s sense of an urban and cultural environment with a mix of local and international live experiences. From Club Corazon to Stuck On – the winner of Årets Lalander is Morgan Hall.”

About the Award
The prize is awarded in memory of Gullan and Per Lalander, who for decades drove trade and developed Östersund’s city center. The award comes with a prize sum of 20,000 kronor and is given to a physical or legal person who has influenced the city’s development and contributed to trade and place attraction.
