Save the Children’s Child Rights Conference to Host Event in Östersund
Östersund will host the Save the Children’s Child Rights Conference from November 7-9, bringing together up to 200 participants from across the country to discuss children’s rights, development, and local engagement under the theme ”A Society That Does Its Job.”
Conference Details
The districts of Jämtland and Västernorrland will serve as local hosts for this conference, which provides a platform for dialogue, experience exchange, and development. Over three days, participants will discuss critical issues including:
- Social violence
- Children’s rights in northern Sweden’s transformation
- Civil society’s role
- How Sweden can better fulfill the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
