Glitched Gaming Festival Returns: Bigger and Better for 2026
After an incredibly successful first event with over 15,000 visitors and Sweden’s largest LAN party, Glitched Festival is confirmed to return. The next event will take place at Elmia in Jönköping from June 12-15, 2026, with tickets going on sale September 26, 2025.
A Premier Gaming Culture Destination
The festival has established itself as one of Sweden’s best meeting places for gaming culture, attracting esports players, LAN participants, families, casual gamers, and tech enthusiasts.
”It is of great importance for our location that Glitched returns after the incredible premiere last summer, and we look forward to a growing event both nationally and internationally. This is evidence of the knowledge, commitment, and grassroots level that exists here in Jönköping within e-sports and gaming, where we want to further advance our position,” says Caroline Törnblad, Event and Destination Development Manager at Destination Jönköping.
Participants Unanimous: ”World Class”
After the 2025 premiere, Glitched spoke with hundreds of visitors and conducted a comprehensive survey. The event received an impressive Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 69, a standardized method of measuring customer satisfaction.
Festival Highlights
Glitched is a community-driven gaming festival that combines digital culture and esports, with participant experience at its core. The four-day event will feature:

Unique Gaming Districts Return
The popular LAN districts will make a comeback in 2026. These thematic areas group participants based on play style, interest, or community. Whether attending with an esports team, friend group, family, or solo, there’s a district for every type of player.
”Glitched has achieved our goal of becoming Sweden’s best gaming festival, and we’re just at the beginning. The response from both visitors and partners has been overwhelming, and all evaluations point in the same direction: the community loves what we’re building together,” says Christoffer Melin, co-founder of Glitched.
Expanding Horizons
The Elmia festival area will be further expanded in 2026, with new features and participants. The aim is to offer an inclusive festival experience for both dedicated players and curious visitors.
Ticket sales for the 2026 event begin on September 26, 2025, with the first hall of tickets to be presented at that time. Additional halls and content will be revealed throughout the autumn.
