Event Grant Application Now Open for Falkenberg
The annual event grant application for Falkenberg is now open. Destination Falkenberg aims to strengthen the Falkenberg brand and create more attractive travel reasons throughout the year.
”Sponsorship for us is not a traditional contribution, but a collaboration that should create value for both parties. Our ambition is to develop events together with local actors that attract more visitors to Falkenberg,” says Fredrik Janson, CEO of Destination Falkenberg.
Event Grant Details
The event grant targets sports, culture, entertainment, food, and nature associations planning events in Falkenberg municipality. The focus is on attracting visitors from other parts of Sweden during peak potential periods, primarily May–June and August–October.
Application Criteria
Several key criteria must be met for grant approval, including:
- A clear offering for visitors outside the municipality
- A packaged implementation plan
- A communication strategy
Destination Falkenberg will not be the main financier but will act as an enabler, with sponsorship tied to specific requirements.

Application Deadline: November 9th
Decision Announcement: December 12th
