Exciting Autumn Events at Kalmar Castle!
Kalmar Castle has just released its autumn program, featuring everything from spooky ghost walks to a dance concert with the Romeo & Julia Choir. The program will also include lectures by historian Peter Danielson and foreign correspondent Cecilia Uddén.
A Diverse Program of New and Classic Events
”The tournament games are returning, as are our spine-chilling ghost walks. We’re also presenting a historical lecture series during daytime hours,” says Johanna Algotson, event manager at Kalmar Castle.
Egyptian Exhibition and Special Events
The castle continues to offer events connected to its current seasonal exhibition, ”Egyptian Mummies – A Journey to Immortality”, which runs until November 2nd. Daily guided tours are available, and on October 16th, foreign correspondent Cecilia Uddén will give a lecture about modern Egypt’s relationship to its pharaonic past.
Autumn Break Activities for Children
During the autumn holidays, children can enjoy ghost walks, Halloween-inspired treasure hunts, Petits Adventures, and a number-based treasure hunt through the castle’s halls.
