International Food Market Returns to Stortorget September 3-6
The aroma of freshly fried paella, trendy South Korean corn dogs, and spices from around the world will soon fill Stortorget in Östersund again. The International Food Festival will visit Östersund from September 3-6, offering taste experiences from 22 nations and around 40 exhibitors.
Festival Details and Hours
The market will be open Wednesday–Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Visitors can sample delicacies from French cuisine, British fudge, Jamaican and Vietnamese dishes, and more. In addition to freshly prepared food, the festival will offer a wide selection of cheeses, oils, breads, sweets, and other gourmet products to take home.
”We have been organizing the International Food Festival since 2008 and this year we are visiting 25 cities across Sweden with authentic food, delicacies, and culinary culture from around the world. We always enjoy returning to Östersund. Last time we had perfect weather and plenty of visitors,” says Robert Norrhede from Geraud Markets.
