Swedish Beach Tour Final Set to Conclude in Kalmar This Weekend

This weekend, on August 23-24, the Swedish beach volleyball elite will descend upon Långviken Arena. Throughout spring and summer, the tour has visited eight destinations across the country, competing for prize money and ranking points. Now, it’s time for the top teams to meet in the grand tour final.

Tour Highlights and Location

Swedish Beach Tour 2025 has previously stopped in cities including Sollentuna, Södertädje, Göteborg, Landskrona, Gotland, Karlskrona, Ystad, and Växjö. Kalmar will host the exciting finale for the third consecutive year, with Kalmar Volleyball Club organizing in collaboration with the Swedish Volleyball Federation and Destination Kalmar.

”I’m looking forward to welcoming the audience to Långviken to experience fantastic matches and the wonderful atmosphere created together by DJs, speakers, officials, sponsors, audience, players, and referees,” says Hanna Rydeberg, local project manager for the tour final.

Tournament Details

Only eight women’s and eight men’s teams have qualified for the final, where master titles, prize money, and ranking points are at stake. Organizers promise a family-friendly festival with entertaining side activities and an expanded food and beverage area.

”It’s the third consecutive year we’ve had the honor of concluding the tour at the wonderful Långviken Arena – and Kalmar Volleyball Club delivers a top-class setting every time!” says Anton Anderssons, Swedish Beach Tour project manager.

Women’s Division Highlights

Notable participants include Fanny Åhman (Stöcke IF), who won the tour final in 2023 and 2024, and is aiming for a third consecutive title. Helene Jernbeck, last year’s champion, will compete with Frida Johanson, considered one of Sweden’s top female players this season.

Men’s Division Highlights

Defending champions Stefan Andreassons (Göteborg Beach Club) and Anton Anderssons (Malmö Beach Club) will compete after winning the Swedish Championship in Åhus earlier this summer and a tour stage in Ystad.
