Falkenberg’s Food Days: A Roadtrip Becomes a Long Friday!
Falkenberg’s Food Days – Roadtrip has become as much a Easter tradition for food-loving residents and visitors as herring is on the Easter table. The Roadtrip is the event variant where we return to our roots and once again give food enthusiasts a reason to visit Falkenberg’s culinary heroes in their natural environment – where deliciousness is created.
Since its start during the pandemic, two days have always been dedicated to gastronomic stops in Falkenberg and its surroundings. This year, they’re adjusting the concept, and instead of two shorter days, all focus is placed on Good Friday. One single, packed, and long Friday where food craftsmanship, cultivation, and culinary love are at the center! A delightful inauguration of Easter and spring.
”Looking back on the years with the Roadtrip, Good Friday has always been the highlight and the day everyone was most satisfied with – both visitors and actors,” says Fredrik Janson, CEO of Destination Falkenberg.
During Falkenberg’s Food Days: Roadtrip 2025 on April 18th, from 11:00 – 17:00, almost 30 actors will participate. Considering how visitor numbers have increased each year, a food festival that truly colors Good Friday is expected.
”This year’s Roadtrip is a fantastic example of how collaboration between the destination company and Falkenberg’s Pantry has truly optimized the event, which in turn helps to establish Falkenberg’s position as one of Sweden’s best food destinations,” Fredrik Janson continues.
