Lars Winnerbäck to Host Club Night at Saab Arena and Present Nyponpriset
Klub Nypon: A Unique Evening in Linköping
On October 10th, Lars Winnerbäck will transform Saab Arena in his hometown of Linköping into a rock club for a special night called ”Klub Nypon”. The evening will feature a Winnerbäck concert with special guest artists and DJs, creating an immersive experience for fans.
Nyponpriset: Celebrating Cultural Heroes
Lars Winnerbäck’s Foundation annually awards the Nyponpriset to ”cultural enthusiasts who enrich the cultural life in Linköping”. The prize includes a 100,000 SEK award and a unique physical ”Nypon” designed by a local craftsperson.
10th Anniversary Celebration
This year marks the 10th edition of the award, which will be presented at Babettes Kafferi. The event will include musical performances by 500 mil and a panel discussion about local cultural scenes, featuring Lars Winnerbäck himself.

About Lars Winnerbäck
For over 25 years, Winnerbäck has been a significant voice in Swedish music, capturing generational emotions through fourteen studio albums. In 2023, he released ”Neutronstjärnan” with Kents’ Joakim Berg and Martin Sköld, winning Rock Album of the Year at the 2024 Grammis Awards.
His recent performances have been remarkable, including a summer tour attracting over 140,000 people and a record-breaking show at Rosendal Garden Party with 12,000 attendees.
