Exclusive Opera and Wine Evening: A Unique Collaboration at Halmstad Theatre
Halmstad Theatre, in partnership with Bistro Jarlen, proudly presents a unique and exclusive evening in the theatre’s newly renovated foyer. After a period of preparation and renovation, they are offering an unforgettable experience for lovers of fine food, wine, and classical music.
An Italian Evening of Opera and Wine
On November 29th, for the first time in several years, they will offer their popular concept ”Una serata di opera e vino” – an Italian evening combining wine tasting from the prestigious Italian wine house Masi, a delightful dinner from Bistro Jarlen, and an opera performance.
The Journey of Collaboration
The collaboration began in 2019 when Halmstad Theatre first tested a partnership with Bistro Jarlen during a Masi wine tasting with simple food in the theatre’s foyer. The positive response from the 140 guests, who also enjoyed a surprise opera performance, created a desire to make this a recurring experience.

- Opera performance by Birgir Stefánsson (tenor), Elinor Fryklund (soprano), and Ninni Chikelidze (piano)
