Award-Winning International Art Experience to Visit Kalmar Castle
Next year, Kalmar Castle will host a prize-winning art experience never before shown in Sweden. ”Modern Guru and the Path to Artificial Happiness” will take visitors on an interactive journey filled with AI, sculptures, surprises, and thought-provoking messages about finding happiness in an increasingly digital world.
A Unique Immersive Installation
Created by the renowned art and technology studio ENESS from Melbourne, this experience has previously been displayed in only seven countries worldwide. The installation will occupy the castle’s largest hall, the Burnt Hall, spanning an impressive 650 square meters.
Interactive Art Experience
Visitors will follow a winding path through a landscape of gigantic, colorful figures. The journey culminates in an encounter with Modern Guru – a transparent figure with four digital eyes hovering over a ceremonial LED light ring. This innovative installation uniquely responds to eye contact and photography by printing personalized messages that become part of the exhibition.
”This is unlike anything we have previously shown at the castle, and we are excited to offer this art experience that is truly unique, especially as the first selected location in Sweden,” says Meg Nömgård, Castle Director of Kalmar Castle.
