Premiere of Street Food Festival in Halmstad!
On June 26-27, 2026, Halmstad will host a new event as the Street Food Festival arrives in the city for the first time. Over two days, Stationsparken will transform into a vibrant meeting place filled with food trucks, offering both international and local flavors.

The festival is one of Sweden’s largest food festivals, attracting thousands of visitors nationwide. Halmstad’s inclusion in the tour is an important addition to the city’s growing food event landscape.

Additional Excitement: Street Food Championship
Halmstad will also host the summer’s first preliminary round of Streetfood SM, a national competition highlighting Sweden’s top street food actors.
”We are very much looking forward to the premiere in Halmstad. Visitors can experience street food and sweet food from around the world, and even local craft beer in our beer and wine bar. Starting the summer’s Street Food Championship here makes the festival extra exciting,” says organizer Peter Näsman.
