Restaurant Week ”Taste the City” Continues to Attract New Restaurant Owners in Skövde
From February 16-19, the restaurant week ”Smaka på stan” returns to Skövde. During four days, the city’s restaurants will come together to offer extra value-for-money menus and special deals, with the goal of encouraging more people to discover Skövde’s diverse culinary landscape.
Record Number of Participating Restaurants
This year, twelve restaurants are participating – a record for the event. Visitors can enjoy offers ranging from entire menu discounts to special dishes and curated three-course menus.
”We have many great restaurants in Skövde and a wide range of options. This really shows during restaurant week. I encourage Skövde residents to dare to try a new restaurant – who knows, you might find a new favorite,” says Emma Edqvist, destination developer at Skövde Citysamverkan/Next Skövde.
New Restaurants Join the Event
This year’s edition is the largest so far, with three new restaurants joining: Chik Chak, Sur Lie Bar, and El Taco Perez.
”Restaurant week is a fantastic initiative to get more people to discover the city’s range of culinary experiences. For us restaurant owners, it’s an opportunity to showcase what we want our establishment to represent,” says Eddy Lundqvist, owner of Sur Lie Bar and Lilla Krogen.
