Welcome House Skellefteå Hosts Christmas Café at Nordanå
A Christmas café for newcomers in Skellefteå has become a tradition. This year, the event will once again take place at Nordanå and Exploratoriet.
Purpose of the Event
The event aims to provide a warm welcome to those who have recently moved to Skellefteå. This year’s Christmas café invites individuals who have moved to Skellefteå within the past year.
”We want to make it easier to settle into a new city. That’s why we’re inviting everyone to a cozy Christmas gathering where both adults and children can socialize, try activities, and get a sense of Skellefteå’s open and welcoming atmosphere,” says project manager Sofia Sturesson.
Event Details
Welcome House Skellefteå will host the event on December 7th, coinciding with Nordanå’s Christmas market.
”For us, it’s important to create connections between newcomers and local Skellefteå residents. By organizing our Christmas Café on the same day as the Christmas market, we want to open doors to the local community and make it easier to become part of Skellefteå’s daily life and traditions,” Sofia Sturesson explains.
