Viktor Frisk to Lecture in Skellefteå During Pride Week
The tradition of Skellefteå municipality inviting a lunchtime lecture in conjunction with RFSL’s Pride Week continues. It is now confirmed that Viktor Frisk will be speaking at Scen 1 in Sara Kulturhus on Wednesday, February 11th.
A Journey of Self-Discovery and Mental Health
The tradition, which started in 2014, has featured many interesting speakers over the years. This year, Viktor Frisk takes the stage. As a beloved artist, he and Samir Badran have performed hit songs like ”Bada nakna”, ”Shuffla”, and ”Groupie” – tracks every child, youth, and probably adult currently know.
While joy, spontaneity, and dance have characterized Viktor Frisk’s life in the spotlight, behind the celebrity status, he has struggled with mental health and an ADHD diagnosis.
An Inspiring Lecture
With warmth and generous self-reflection, Viktor will share both his successes and challenges, exploring the journey of mental health – a condition affecting 12% of Sweden’s population. He will take the audience through his personal journey from a bullied boy in Enköping to a successful, popular artist, revealing how he lost and found himself along the way.
In his lecture, he provides practical tips for both youth and the business community on creating spaces where people have the courage and safety to be themselves.
