Strong Ticket Sales for ATG Final4 2026 in Halmstad
The interest in the ATG Swedish Cup’s Final4 continues to grow. Ticket sales for the upcoming spring finals in Halmstad show clear increases compared to previous years.
”This shows that the Final4 format has truly established itself among handball fans. The interest is significant long before kickoff, which gives the final weekend a fantastic setting,” says Krister Bergström from the Swedish Handball Federation.
Impressive Ticket Sales
In Halmstad, ticket sales are already 13% better than the total sales from last year. Over 50% of the total capacity per game day has already been sold.
”It’s delightful that the interest is so high, and we hope that the people of Halmstad take the chance to experience the handball festival on home ground. This is the third time Final4 is being arranged here, which makes the event more established and shows our long-term collaborations,” says Camilla Axelsson, Head of Destination Development at Destination Halmstad.
Tournament Details
The Men’s Final4 in Halmstad has a clear Southern Swedish character. Amo HK from Småland’s Alstermo will face the reigning cup champions Ystads IF HF, while IFK Kristianstad meets HF Karlskrona.
All matches in the ATG Swedish Cup Final4 will be broadcast on SVT’s channels.

About ATG Swedish Cup
The ATG Swedish Cup is a national handball competition where all associations with representative teams, for women and/or men, can register their participation. Through qualifying rounds 1-3, ten teams qualify for round 4, where the 22 highest-ranked teams in Sweden are already directly qualified.
After round 4, round of 16 and quarter-finals are played. The ATG Swedish Cup concludes with Final4, a consolidated playoff with semi-finals, bronze match, and final during one weekend.
